Peruvian Pasos
Peruvian Pasos are a gaited breed of pleasure saddle horse. The naturally smooth gait is called the paso llano which is a lateral four beat gate between a walk & a canter. The breed is considered medium sized with an average height of 14.0 to 15.2 hands. Champions are selected for gait, brio, and of course, their appearance. Brio is a contradictory temperament: combining arrogance, spirit, and the sense of always being in the spotlight, with a willingness to please the rider. If a Peruvian Paso has a bad temperament, or bad brio, it will not be bred.
Tobiano Paint Horses
Tobiano Paint horses have a definitive white spotting pattern. The pattern that extends across the spine and extends downwards between the ears and tail. It is interesting to note that Tobiano's tails can have two colors, rare in horses. This 'tobiano' trait is controlled by a dominant gene, which can very between homozygous (double-gened) and heterozygous (single-gened). A homozygous horse should produce 100% tobiano offspring and a heterozygous horse should produce 50% tobiano foals when bred to a non-tobiano mare, due to the gene's dominance.
*Tovero Paint: A cross between a Tobiano and an Overo patterned paint horse.
*Overo Paint: this is somewhat of a wild paint gene, showing up whenever and however it pleases.
Oro Noblè - Stallion for sale
If you know the Peruvian Paso breed, you know the bloodlines of the most famous of these horses. If not, meet them now all wrapped around this magnificent palomino colt. His bloodline includes Senor Dedo de Oro, AV Oro Puro, AV Sol de Paijan and others deemed outstanding for the breed.
Danzarina - SOLD
Danzarina is a palomino with a flaxen mane and tail. She is ready to be trained! She is loving and trusting with no faults. Danzarina will be a small horse for the lightweight rider.
Sierra - for sale
Sierra is a purebred Peruvian Paso. She is for sale as companion horse only. Her story was not known when she first arrived but she had a way of communicating her history. It was followed up by tracking back through her many owners.
Sugar
There is nothing Sugar won't do for her handlers. She is halter trained, moves to pressure, and stands for the Ferrier. She allows hands all over her, loves her baths and loads easily into a trailer.
Siemon
Siemon's a smart horse-, so don't turn your back on her for too long, cuz she'll find trouble and has been known to figure out knots and locks. She's even generous with her mischeif, as she'll let out other horses as well.
Bullet
This is the horse that all of the grandchildren and novice riders climb upon. Bullet takes care of his riders no matter how small or clumsy they may be in the saddle. He is never in a rush, and he'll stand contentedly for hours.
Canela Fina- SOLD
Canela Fina means "fine cinnamon". She was a mare with all the right stuff: extraordinary smooth gait, extremely responsive, lots of fun, eager and willing to please.
